Emails will be checked by the nurse practitioners when in the office. Dr. Ottenheimer will cover for after-hours emergencies. For urgent matters, please call the office at 212 366 4765

Saturday hours suspended until October 2

To meet increased demand for office hours we have added appointments on Saturdays (excluding some holiday weekends and the summer).
Because of so many of our patients having recently lost their jobs and health insurance, during these hours ONLY you can schedule a checkup at $100, paid at the time of the visit. If you need labs, they will be billed separately to your home adress by the lab. A lab fee schedule is available by calling the office.

To make these appointments run smoothly, please help by following these rules:

1. If you can't come in, give us 24h notice! Confirmed, missed appointments generate a $100 fee.

2. Please arrive on time! If you are running unavoidably late, we may still be able to see you but give us a call to see if we can adjust.

3. If you are a new patient, you can download and print up the papers that need to be filled out from the links at "using our office" and bring them in with you ; alternatively, arrive 15 min early to fill them out.

4. These appointments are meant for annual checkups and testing for simple things like STD'S, vaginal infections etc. which can be handled in 20 minutes or less. If you require more extensive discussion about issues such as irregular bleeding, menopausal symptoms, osteoporosis , sexual problems, etc. please reserve TWO slots (fee $200).

- SATURDAY HOURS ARE VERY SOUGHT AFTER; PLEASE DON'T FORGET! SET YOUR ALARM!
- NO CASH PAYMENTS ACCEPTED. EXISTING PATIENTS CAN PAY BY CHECK, NEW PATIENTS BY CREDIT CARD.
- NO SHOWS WILL BE BILLED $100 TO THEIR CREDIT CARD.
- PLEASE ALLOW AMPLE TIME TO GET TO YOUR APPOINTMENT - SUBWAYS ARE UNRELIABLE ON WEEKENDS! IF YOU ARE RUNNING UNAVOIDABLY LATE, CALL 212 675 2706 AND WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO ACCOMODATE YOU. (TAKE THE NUMBER DOWN AND PLEASE NOTE, WE DO NOT ANSWER THE REGULAR NUMBER ON SATURDAYS)
